RE: using a common simple name

The bot's directory name, and the name it my use in conversation can be different.

To change the bot's name that it would use in conversation you can just say in its chat,

"your name is John"

(if you have the MyNameIs script loaded)

You can also execute in Self, (Knowledge/Worksheet)
