So the bot in this script uses "commands" in Bot Libre to pass back the audio commands to the client.

Your web or mobile client needs to process these commands to play the audio.

In the example website it uses some JavaScript code to process the audio command, you need this code for you bot to play audio.

Please include a link to the musicplayer script you are trying to modify.

I figured it out the .elements.[0] does not work.  But, if you use this syntax:

conversation.topic.description = resp.result.CVE_Items.get(#element, 0).cve.description.description_data.get(#element, 0).value;

Thanks that debug mode is very helpful.   The JSON object "elements" command throws an error that says Invalid attribute name: [ which seems to be around the elements.[0].  Is there a doc somewhere that explains how json parsing in self works?  I can parse other things out of the json like in python but when I get to the nested elements, it throws an error.

Looking at your bot I see several issues.

First you have learning enabled, this is not recommend and will make the bot learn EVERY reply you give it as a new response.

For your scripts, the best way to debug a script is to click on the "debug" checkbox in chat and set the log level to FINE.

My script seems ok, I can do this in Python, it doesn't throw errors but the bot never responds to a question like What is CVE-2022-29315

I want to add a self script that will look up CVE information (which shows up in a json format).  I can do this in python, but can't figure out how to do it in Self or how to get the bot to use the self script.

There is a 1k limit to string sizes.
You can return responses larger than 1k using a Paragraph object in Self.

I'm trying to figure out how to get the bot to return longer answers. Currently both the text and the avatar stop short of the full content. I'm considering trying to fix it with <get> tags, but I'm hoping there's a more elegant way. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

No. Bot's active scripts can only be stored in their memory database.
If you want a bigger memory you can upgrade, or host your bot on your own server.

can you make it so we can use google drive to store aiml scripts and other scripts that can be used by our botlibre chatbots.

There is no direct support for this yet.

You could use the Understanding script to process your journal, and it can extract some information, but not that level of complexity.

I am looking at making a virtual ME for my kids.  The idea is so that at some point it is a virtual me that will be around if I am not.  I have it set with lots of questions / answers that I setup from a chat corpus when using chatterbot. Chatterbot could not do context.  Here is what I would like.  To keep a "Diary" of my days.  I would like to do things like.

In Bot Libre questions are automatically matched heuristically. So when you add a new question/response a broad set of question will be matched with the same response.

You can also use keywords to widen the scope, or required words to narrow it, or configure the heuristically match settings from the bot's Learning & Settings page in its Admin Console.

Hi, I am new to botlibre. I have created a chatbot previously with Dialogflow and just trying to understand how the conversation flow works for bot libre.

At the moment I will am using the WYSIWYG editor but later on hope to do more in AIML.

I am working on a chatbot for students and they have different ways of asking something that has the same response. Is it possible to group these in a conversation flow ? I am not sure if I have missed something in the guidance?
